Neighborly Brand Websites

My team partnered with developers, PMs, and brand leaders to redesign the full website experience while also simplifying the pricing flow for our customers across 20 home service brands.

One of the major challenges was creating a scalable platform. We didn't just build websites; we designed the platform's architecture by using Flowbite as the foundation for our Figma-based design system. This  ensured consistency, flexibility, and scalability.

This effort led to the successful launch of Neighborly's core brands, followed by the migration of smaller brands. Also, our cross-team collaboration enabled us to deliver a platform that meets current needs and is prepared for future growth.

My Design Process

Research and Discovery

After the project kickoff, the team defined a research strategy by analyzing web analytics, user tests, and CTR data. This helped identify key user pain points and opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

Sketches

I began the design process with low-fidelity sketches to quickly explore and visualize ideas. Early design concepts were shaped by user interviews and the overarching business goal of increasing user leads.

Wireframes

I created early wireframes and shared them with stakeholders to gather feedback before moving to high-fidelity design. Using their input, I refined the iterations and finalized a layout scalable across 19 home services websites.

Design System

In addition, I contributed to our design system using Neighborly's brand colors and logos for consistency across 20 websites. By planning ahead and creating an editable component library in Figma, we were able to design each site quickly and efficiently.

Molly Maid Website Design

We redesigned the website for Molly Maid, a home cleaning service brand, from the ground up. Using bright colors and photos that capture the pride and personality of our technicians, the goal was to create a warm, welcoming experience that reassures visitors their homes are in good hands.

Optimizing the Auto Glass Repair Pricing Journey

In addition, we created a simple four-step process to help customers receive accurate online quotes for one of our core brands, Glass Doctor.

After clicking the “Let’s Get Started” CTA, customers are guided through a short form to capture their vehicle details and the type of glass repair needed. Once completed, they’re presented with a pricing chart featuring multiple options to choose from.

Conclusion & Learnings

This project provided key insights to guide future improvements. Redesigning 20 home service sites was a significant undertaking, but establishing a scalable design system early helped streamline the process. Strong cross-functional collaboration ensured we delivered on time without compromising quality.
